CERAMICAL POETRY: A Clay Workshop
March 27th, 6pm-8PM

A space to slow down, tune in, and create.

This workshop is an invitation to explore the rhythms of clay. Bring your inspirations or create something spontaneous - you can make a mug, wine cups, a small wall-hanging, nesting bowls, (almost) anything!

Our focus will be on the sensory experience and the spontaneous nature of working with clay.

You'll craft 1 to 2 small pieces, which I will take care of: sponging, bisque firing, glazing, and firing once more. In about six weeks, your work will be ready, finished in a soft satin or glossy clear glaze to honour the natural beauty of the clay.

POÉSIE CÉRAMIQUE : Atelier de poterie

Un moment pour ralentir, se recentrer et créer.

Cet atelier est une invitation à explorer le rythme de l’argile. Amène tes idées ou laisse-toi inspirer sur le moment. Tu peux façonner une tasse, des coupes à vin, un petit mur suspendu, des bols qui s’emboît.. (presque) tout ce qui te tente !

On va se concentrer sur le ressenti et la spontanéité du geste.

Tu pourras créer 1 à 2 petites pièces, que je prendrai en charge après l’atelier: séchage, première cuisson, émaillage et cuisson finale. Elles seront prêtes dans environ six semaines, avec une finition en glaçure satinée ou brillante pour mettre en valeur la beauté naturelle de l’argile.
